Photo catalystic coating for glass and plastic

The photo catalystic coating is a system to protect glass and plastic surfaces from being covered by biological contamination (improves the luminous efficiency and/or avoidance of uncontrolled dripping off of condensate). The applied substances produce an only a few nanometers thin, hydrophilic film on the surfaces. The hydrophilic characteristic of the surface is produced by a photo-catalystic process in the presence of the natural sunlight. The surface tension to condensed water is increased and higher as the surface tension of air/water – the result is that the condensate completely runs off (self cleaning effect).

Your advantages:

- the surfaces become UV-stable and frost-stable
- less time is spent for cleaning
- made for the external area
- glass corrosion is reduced
- the output of solar plants is increased
- the view is not impaired

Areas of application:
Windows, doors and gates made out of glass, winter gardens, plastic glass roofs, solar plants etc.

Durability:

approx. 3 years on glass
approx. 1 year on plastic
